Does anyone else have a deep-rooted hatred for the tired, stuffy button-down-under-a-sweater look for little boys?! I don’t know what your holidays look like, but ours consist of running around from house to house, pillow fights with friends, and fingers digging into cookie icing. Add a button down getup to that equation and you just might end up with disaster. I partnered with Houston Premium Outlets to share comfortable holiday looks for little boys! From Carter’s to Gap Kids, you can put any of these looks together with savings of 25 to 65 percent every day!

1. Flannel

Flannel is basically the more comfortable button-down. It coordinates well for photos under the tree. If you’re going for a more formal look, you can pair a polo with a flannel shirt. If you’re open to a more casual look, you can throw a flannel shirt over a graphic t-shirt. (Cool mom points for allowing your son to pick the graphic tee that he wants to wear!)

2. Layered sweaters

Here in Houston, we usually opt for a long-sleeve with a button-up sweater. I love to mix in non-traditional colors for a more modern and stylish look!

If you live somewhere freezing, a t-shirt and flannel may not cut it during the holiday season. Have you ever thought of layering sweaters?! I mean, just think how cozy that sounds! Not to mention, a great excuse to pattern mix and really show off your son’s personal style!

3. Just a festive sweater

Like I said, we live in Houston and we don’t require much layering/warmth. …but, seriously, have you ever thought us mamas just flat out overthink things and take things to an extreme?! (Hello, 1 year birthday parties!) A festive sweater, one layer, one purchase, no fuss, can be a seriously comfortable option for little boys! (Now, picking just one will be the hard part!)
