If there has ever been an outfit that made me feel va-va-voom, I think this is it. Being short and curvy can sometimes make me self-conscious of the trends that I try, careful to compliment my shape without discriminating against my own body! Trying things on never hurts, though, and I’ve found some amazing fitting trends. Bodysuits and flares are both great examples of this.
Bodysuits are usually pictured on shapes much different than mine, showing every dip and edge of their (usually muscly) stomach, and flares add so much width to a shape that I’ve always been wary of both. Being the bold person that I am, I still ended up in the fitting room with a bodysuit and flares despite my hesitation. So, here I am, with one of my favorite outfits that I never would have worn if I didn’t have the guts to try it on! Besides, what toddler mom doesn’t love a top that can’t ride up or show her undies?! 😉
